100 YEARS OF DISNEY BRIEF
The brief was a create a brand building campaign that celebrates the 100-year anniversary of Disney for the 2023 celebrations. The campaign was to play on nostalgia from the 90s-00s and appeal to a 16–30-year-old demographic that would cover all backgrounds spanning across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
My response to this brief was to create something universal that people from all backgrounds could relate to and play on the nostalgia of the feeling that Disney would make you feel as a child and playing off the nostalgia of the Disneyland parks and the mousekateers nostalgia. The campaign would focus on the mickey mouse ears that you can get in the parks and have the slogan “Wear the ears to celebrate 100 years!” This would encourage people to share and connect their own Disney memories and use the ears to show this.
